Pure and Applied Conservation Framing LLP is a bespoke conservation and museum framing business that also specialises in antique frames, antique prints, maps, drawings, paintings and exhibitions. Close to London Bridge and Tower Bridge and opposite the world famous White Cube Gallery.
Pure & Applied was founded in Bermondsey St, London in 1997, and have been at 169 Bermondsey Street since January 1st 2000. Five minutes away is their 2000 square feet workshop dedicated to producing the finest conservation and museum framing with state of the art computer mount cutting. Pure and Applied Conservation Framing at 169 remains a calm reminder of former times but is firmly meshed into a modern art world that demands high standards and, at times, a scientific approach to preservation and presentation of art. In 1997 we hoped that our name would reflect, and even become synonymous with, the idea of a scientific attitude towards the conservation and preservation of fine art......Pure and Applied.
